WAVE Award Finalists and Winners


Congratulations to all the WAVE Award Finalists and Winners!  (Entrants competed with other public access productions within a ten-state region.)

The following CMAP produced programs won WAVE awards in their categories:

Best Documentary Issues – Professional Program, for: “Changing Faces: Community Food Bank of San Benito County” – produced by CMAP, Kathy Bisbee and Emery Hudson.

Best Experimental/Innovative – Professional Program, for: “CMAP Summer Camps 2009” – produced by CMAP, Laura Rodriguez, Kirsten Dorenkamp and Kathy Bisbee.

In addition, CMAP’s Programming Manager, Jan Janes received the esteemed 2009 Brian Wilson Mentorship Award. The Brian Wilson Award is granted annually to recognize those individuals at all levels of PEG Access who take the time to provide mentorship and guidance to others.  Congratulations to Jan!
