Educational Access Channel 19

Educational Access is the channel where commercial free educational programming is aired.

CMAP will aim to create programs through outreach to local schools. These programs may be a result of grant-funded projects, or perhaps "built in" educational access time with CMAP staff.

Examples of this type of programming include public service announcements produced by students, video yearbooks, live call-in shows in studio, special event coverage on campus, CNN Student Bureau segments, a live kid's educational game show, and school produced news programs.

These collaborations depend on outside funding, CMAP staff availability, and teacher interest at local schools. CMAP will also import commercial-free educational programming via satellite. Examples of this type of programming include A&E's Classroom Documentaries, cable in the classroom shows, the RIF (Reading is Fundamental) series, Annenberg Educational Channel programs, and MCOE's Math TV.
