Channel 17 Gilroy airs government meetings and community calendar for the city of Gilroy.

Channel 17 Hollister airs government meetings, community calendar and civic events for Hollister and San Juan Bautista.

Channel 18 airs Gavilan College programs, telecourses and college-level satellite programs.

Channel 19 currently airs local and national educational programming.

Channel 20 airs local and regional public access programming of all kinds.

Government Access Channel 17

The Government channels are where city meetings and relevant local government programming are scheduled for cablecasting.

CMAP will be cablecasting:

Hollister City Council and San Benito County Board of Supervisor meetings live from Hollister.

The Gilroy City Council meetings will be cablecast live to Gilroy residents on Channel 17.

CMAP will also import programming from local and state representatives talking to their constituents about current issues.

At election time, CMAP will feature election forums and perhaps live call-in programs for viewers to get to know candidates of local races.

CMAP can provide production services and act as producer of special government programming, including training / community info videos and emergency programming.

2nd Annual San Benito County Student Digital Media Festival

Youth Media Day - Saturday, March 6th (12:00-5:00pm)

The San Benito County Arts Council, together with Community Media Access Partnership (CMAP) are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual San Benito County Student Digital Media Festival! Students from 4th grade through College participate in our educational, creative and fun process of filmmaking. Students are offered a Youth Media Day with film making workshops to attend and learn the technical art of film production and editing. Plus, all films made during the Youth Media Day will be considered as entries for the 2010 Digital Media Festival!
