In July 2025, the Gilroy Garlic Festival returned after Gilroy Mayor Greg Bozzo said that advocacy is what helped him deliver on his campaign promise to bring it back. Bradley Noons, who grew up in Gilroy, expressed how much the festival meant to him and his family. Moreover, the President of the Garlic Festival, Paul Nadeau, touched on the struggles faced, such as underestimating the demand for garlic food on Friday morning.
